One of our most fun and unique projects to date - the transformation of a two storey garage in leafy Pickmere, Cheshire into a party for a family of four who to host. The brief was to create a versatile space that could cater for all manner of parties whether it be a children's bonfire night, birthday party, family Christmas celebration or a fabulous dinner party (with dancing) for the parents... And yes there is a disco ball!

The design is colourful and fun, yet luxurious with House of Hackney's 'Hollyhocks' wallpaper, bespoke kitchen by Daniel Wayman and an intensely deep aubergine - Brinjal by Farrow and Ball. The double vaulted ceiling called for statement lighting that was equally as fun as the wallpaper and the bi-fold doors create the perfect indoor/outdoor vibe which is needed in a space like this. Neutral sheer curtains keep the space feeling light and fresh in the summer and create a cosiness when drawn in the winter.

 

'The Den', as it has been lovingly named by the clients, has been designed for a party whatever the season!
